Hey guys, what tech stories would you like to see in the magazine? There are always standard stories we do, like air intakes and exhaust stuff, but is there anything you think we are missing? This is your opportunity to dictate what is in the book so think it over and let me know.
Happy wrenching......

Hey there. first of all i'd just like to mention that the site setup looks great. before the updates i had posted a request for a feature story along with some more wallpapers of tom winchells '54 chevy pickup. so i'm just hoping to see that soon as a guide for my own project pickup. thanks and keep up the good work.

I'd like to see a tech article on "How to smooth and paint a dash". I know alot of people question the proper way to do that. Ive been told a couple different ways to go about it, but seeing it in a mag like Sport Truck would assure me that I would be going about it correctly.

Hey Calin,
John from Custom Classic Trucks here. The November '06 of Sport Truck was great! Needless to say I like the older trucks, but its good to read about the new stuff as well.
Something about bringing the 295-horse '05 L59 up to '07's 320-horse spec. would be interesting. Anyways, gotta go.

pick up the january 2007 issue of ST to see the right way to paint plastic. We've got a story on painting plastic the right way on page 102. The issue is on the stands now..

I've been to several shows and I've noticed something, mostly at the smaller local shows though. It seems that several people dont do much when it comes to the engine bay. By that I dont mean mods, I mean by just keeping it clean. Time and time again I see some very cool trucks with beautiful paint jobs, the interior is spotless. Then you see them open the hood and its dirty. I'd like to see a tech article on detailing an engine compartment. Maybe there is several people out there that fear messing something up on their engine by cleaning it, or just dont know what to use. A detailed engine compartment is just as much part of a show vehicle as any other part of it in my opinion.

A detailing story is a great idea. I am working on it right now that will cover how to clean up the engine compartment as well as other common detailing problems we encounter with our trucks. Look for it very soon.
