I'm currently working on my 66 Suburban. I'm currently bagging it front and rear to lay frame. I have already installed an 02 LS1 engine backed by a 4L60E transmission from a Corvette. Future plans are to chop it 3", laying back the windshield, so as to retain it's full size but make it more sleek looking. The same goes for the back window as well. It's already been shaved but do have a few more body mods I have in mind to perform once the bags are done.

I have just started the first picture play by play today as a matter of fact. When I have accumulated enough to peak the interests I'll see about posting some.
Is Courtney Halowell(sp) still around your offices? I'm an old friend of his and wanted to get in touch with him regarding this project.

I'm a fricken A.D.D. posterchild!
As I get the funds ready to completely rock a project I'm currently working on, some other "deal" comes along that's too good to pass up. I convince myself my current project is "well enough" for awhile and I'll get around to it, eventually. Ummmmmmm.......still waiting!!!
Been thrashing on the Burb hard lately. I'm figuring shortly after New Years I'll have the motor/transmission swap done and it laying rockers. Plan to drive it for a little bit to make sure it's all mechanically sound. Then it's top choppin' time baby!!!!

so in the end you end up with a bunch of half-done but could-be-cool rides hahaha. Sounds like you're always lookin' for a better deal, prettier chick, etc. hahaha
the Burb sounds badass as can be.

ALWAYS looking for a better deal! Attitude and compatability are ALWAYS a priority nowadays. Went through the "having to have the hottest chick" phase. DONE! Fun chicks are always #1 in my book. Looks are always a plus if they follow. DAMMIT! I guess same is true for my rides as well........
Cutting the firewall to smooth it before doing the engine swap. A.D.D. strikes AGAIN! And just when the install was right around the corner......I'm thinking I might as well do it frame-off at this point.
Still up in the air as to which color to paint it. I'm thinking Chevy, Victory red, and white to keep the retro vibe. I've also thought of Subaru Cobalt blue and Chevy pewter. Thought of House of Kolor, burnt orange and silver, for a more high tech, contemporary look. I JUST DON'T KNOW!!!
I'm looking into having Steve Stillwell do some renderings so I can hopefully nail something down soon. Who do you guys use for your project renderings?
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
