Electric Seats?

Does anyone know if you can add elctric seats in the used Tacoma?  My son just got his permit and is a little short and has problems seeing over the dash.  If we could add electric seats that allow the seat to move up and down, it would be no problem.  I can't find anywhere where you can buy this to add to a used truck.  Any ideas?

Think outside the box. My 03 Chevy 2500 has power seats, including height adjustment. I'm not sure how the fitment would be into a Tacoma though. What I mean by thinking outside the box is scouring wrecking yards, checking the more luxurious cars/trucks/suvs. Once you find one that may fit then it's only a matter of a two wire hook-up and reupholster to your liking. Another cheaper alternative would be to slightly raise the seat using some square or rectangle tubing and fabricating a pseudo lift kit. I was a short teen myself at one time.

I agree with 66 Sub, the quickest and cheapest way to raise the seat is just lift the tracks. I used to do upholstery and I have done this before for my mother. What I did was pull the seat out of the truck and unbolt the tracks from the seat bottom then I slipped in four one inch spacers I made from cutting round tubing and then reinstalled the tracks using longer bolts. You can also take the truck to an upholstery shop and have them add foam to the cushion portion of the seat to lift him up. Hope this information helps and good luck.
