i just bought a 89 gmc and the previous owner put on a set of z71 decals and still has the 4x4 also. how the best way to remove these decals?

The best way to remove the stickers is to use a 3M Stripe Off Wheel or something comparable. All you have to do is put it in a drill motor and erase the sticker off the side of your truck. We did a tech article called "A Fresh Start" that showed how this worked in captions 27-29.

A heat gun also works if you don't have a Stripe off wheel
