Okay, first off, this is not exactly a way to seek help with the crappy attitude your popping on here with. Just as Monica stated, you left out ALOT of info. It's Sport Truck Magazine, not Extra Sensory Perception Magazine, or Act Like a Prick Because I Think I Deserve Something for Nothing Magazine.

What do you want to convert your S-10 into? Do you want to convert it into a Yugo, an Astro Van, or a Donk? Do you want to convert your V6 to a V8? Which V8? Ls, Lt, Flathead? Ford, Mopar, Toyota? Do you want to convert your S-10 manual trans to automatic. Automatic to Manual? Which one? 4L60e, C4, 700r4? Hydromatic, Fordomatic, Muncie? Do you want to convert your bench seat to buckets? Convert your solid rear axle to IRS? Your IFS to solid? You halogen headlights to HID? Solid rear widow to sliding? Fleetside bed to stepside? Front coils to torsions? Now are you looking for blue prints or a diagram? Blue prints are for building, diagrams are for illustration. Spell checking is for poor spellers.

I think your getting the picture by now. Go back to your corner, do your homework, come back with a better attitude. I'm pretty sure I'll be the one to answer your question, accuracy and level of assistance is absolutely dependent on your attitude though. Think about it before spouting off.

Yeah, I'm kind of guessing this site isn't for you if your looking for instant messaging.

As to your question regarding the toggle versus ignition switch. Stay with the ignition switch unless it's a recreational vehicle and not being left unattended.

I'm not sure which light your speaking of wanting to keep. The trouble light? Your best and easiest bet would be to contact painless wiring. They build specific wiring harness' to adapt these engines into most anything. They have the correct plug ends already installed and the unnecessary wires weeded out as well. It's as simple as speaking to one of their representatives, letting them know what you have and want to install. Withing a few days it arrives, ready to install, plug and play. Their prices are realatively inexpensive too. Good Luck!
