if the new challenger was put on a diet then i'd be into it. 3000 lbs with 600 ponies would be fun.

I want my dads old 72' challenger. He sold it years ago, but a couple years back the current owner came from South Carolina to a car show near us, and he contacted my dad about the car, so we gave him some old trophies and things my dad won racing it, and he gave us the keys for a day. It now has an 04' Hemi and 30k in paint, worth just over 100k. Dad actually let me drive it, and I only had a learners permit, I was like 15 or 16. Insane !!

that's pretty cool! That's nice that the current owner let you and your dad play with the car again.

Takes a big man to turn over his ride for a day...I could never do that. That is a major investment as well. That is one hell of a gesture!
That would be like giving your woman back to her ex for the night...after $25,000 in "upgrades"...

I need to add to my 66 Chevelle - mid 7 second 1/4 times with a monster single turbo all aluminum big block, Lenco trans, 10" tire, etc. - and street legal!
