Ok everyone I'm on the hunt for a 1967-1972 panel truck. Some where in California is preferred, but not necessary. I’m really only in need of the body, so it doesn't have to run. I want to avoid huge amounts of rust and body damage, but right now I consider anything.

Thanks for your time

I'm also starting a new '89 S10 project with a military theme and I'm looking for cool switches and interior type parts. Also I'm looking for a supplier of that green canvas the ARMY uses on the back of a deuce and a half.

Back to the deuce n' a half eh? Well, I'm in the Corp and currently in Iraq right now. Since we're going through the slow withdral process there are a lot of things getting tossed rather than spend the extra time and money to pack up and ship back! I know that our 7-tons have a canvas top that covers some of the bed. I could also see what I could do about getting some types of switches. I am a heavy equipment operator/mechanic so I might be able to round up a few things for you. Let me know more of what you're looking for!

I'll ask around on the Excursion leaves, but you might want to call any off road shops in your area to see if they have any take outs.

Hey man, thanks for the info. I had to change the theme of the S10 so I no longer need the canvas and switches for that project.  Also I can't thank you enough for protecting our freedom and so on, I hope you don't have a long tour. Heavy equipment operator/ Mechanic I know that deal all too well. I was a generator mechanic when I was enlisted, but when I was sent to Korea I had to work on the trucks as well. Again thank you very much for the info and your patriotism.
