Irvington, NY (October 2007) – XV Motorsports is pleased to offer a new carbureted solution for the 5.7 HEMI. Until now, installing a 5.7 HEMI has been both complex and expensive, but XV is now offering the most cost effective and easiest way to get a HEMI in your ride. Install the XV 5.7 HEMI Carb Kit, that was developed around a totally stock 5.7 HEMI, into a hot rod or musclecar and you’ll be up and running in no time with more power and practically effortlessly.  

The XV 5.7 HEMI Carb Kit is a fully tuned solution that was developed to provide the easiest and most cost effective way to install a 5.7 HEMI in any vehicle. This system has been fully engine dyno tested, optimized, and installed in one of XV’s vehicles to dial in driveability and responsiveness.  

5.7 HEMI engines are now readily available in salvage yards.  The XV kit is designed to make installing one of these motors as easy as possible and delivers dyno-proven power between 360 and 420 HP.  This solution is the missing link to HEMI heaven!

Create some serious power without the headache! After easily installing the fully terminated wiring harness that plugs directly into factory sensors and coil packs, there are only two additional wires to hook up- just plug it in and fire it up! XV has fully programmed this system so no changes need to be made, not even a laptop is needed to integrate it.

Hot Rod and Muscelcar enthusiasts do not need to compromise the beauty of their ride by adding ugly cone filters or snail shell intake manifolds, traditional style air cleaners and fully functional factory hood scoops and shakers can be run. This kit even leaves room for changes down the road, as the controller is fully programmable and includes software should you want to make your own changes.

The XV 5.7 HEMI Carb Kit includes:

FULLY PROGRAMMED ELECTRONICS-
The ignition module is pre-programmed by XV Motorsports and includes their optimized tuning for power and driveability, dialed in for each of the three camshaft profiles.

FULLY TERMINATED HARNESS-
There is no messing with, or worrying about harnesses. It hooks directly up to factory coils, cam sensor, and crank trigger.


XV CARBURETED 5.7 HEMI INTAKE MANIFOLD-
XV has designed and cast their own single plane intake manifold for this application. It accepts a standard Holley square bore pattern and was CAD designed, rapid prototyped, and dyno tested prior to going into production.

SHORT PLUG WIRES-
The factory 5.7 HEMI has two plugs per cylinder, which fire across banks for emission purposes. XV’s solution allows firing both plugs in the same cylinder simultaneously. The short plug wires connect the coil to the secondary plug in the
same cylinder to facilitate simultaneous firing.

CALIBRATED AND PROPERLY SIZED
CARBURETOR-
XV offers Holley vacuum secondary carburetors that are totally dialed in for each of the cam profiles offered. The carbs are correctly sized and fully calibrated with proper jets, power valve, vaccum secondary springs, accelerator pump cam, and squirters. The carb tuning was done on the engine dyno to get peak power and then in one of our vehicles to get smooth power delivery and driveability.

UPGRADED CAMSHAFT PACKAGES-
With the stock cam, this package makes 360 HP. Not enough? XV is offering two cam upgrades that have been fully engine dynoed. The first profile makes 400 HP and the second profile makes a thundering 420 HP! With this package, cam and valves springs a very real 420 HP can be made on an otherwise bone stock motor! Electronics are preprogrammed for the cam profile chosen and of course XV has carbs calibrated for each package.

DYNO TESTED POWER LEVELS-
360 HP- Stock Camshaft
400 HP- Stage II Camshaft
420 HP- Stage III Camshaft

Wouldn't a stand alone wire harness/computer be an easier set up to run? It's being done for all the large performance engines these days. Heck you can get a stand alone computer for an LS1 for like 500 bucks, and still have fully functioning fuel injection....

So why a carb?
