I have an 00' silverado and I want to put the axle on top of the leaf springs to lower the rear of my truck and make it ride level. I have 2" drop shackles on it now but its still not level and i dont have much money. Would i have to add or remove anything or can i just do it with the stock parts.

The front is still at the factory ride height, i just put the 2" shackles on it cause i thought it would be enough, but the back still sits a little high. I found the hangers to go with it but they are expensive.

I think if you flip the spring underneath the axle, you'll be too low in the rear (truck won't be level). You could go ahead and do that and then see if you can turn your torsion bars down so that you lower the front to match the back. Only thing with lowering the front with torsion bars....you should get it re-aligned after you're done. If not the tires will wear terribly.

If it doesn't scrape tarmac, it doesn't need to roll!
