These last few posts have nothing to do with SRT-10s OR increasing V-6 h.p. significantly. Bottom line: SELL the V-6 and get an ENGINE!!!!! ... or put it into a model airplane and enjoy it for what it can accomplish?

Cripe! Small-block Chev V-8s are AVAILABLE and CHEAP!!! Why is no one telling this guy to dump his 6 cyl motor and get an engine? Smartest move is to put his truck on the market at a decent price and then buy one WITH h.p. In today's depressed auto market, he could move up VERY cheaply and STILL get decent mileage.

I to have a v-6 4.3 and to gain more HP you will need to spend some many *** to make it happen. There are a few that have done so but it is not worth the cost for what you spend on the mods you can buy a v-8 with HP That you are lookin for. But if you have the $$$ and want braggin rights it can be done. Twin turbos i would think would do the job. +hardware tuneing wireing cooling and on it gets costly. For now i will stick to the custom truck world - Hp
