I'm looking to change my factory 17 inch rims to the factory 20 inch rims will this effect the speedometer and /or the transmission?If so what mods need to be made? Thanks Buddy13

Nope, not at all. That is as long as you use the factory 20" tire size.
Wheel size won't affect speedo's or trans shifting, only overall diameter of the wheel/tire package... which essentially boils down to the tire size, not wheel.
Post some photos after you do it!

At least use a bigger rear tire if it is not 4WD.
