I was wondering how many of you have owned your truck or other ride for a long time? Are you long term or do you like to get them, enjoy for a season or two, and on to the next project. Also, how many of you have project trucks stashed away and how long have you had them? My wife, for example still has her mini that she bought in high school in 1989. Granted its different that it was then but she still has it. So lets hear how long or short you keep your ride  

I've had my truck since June 24, 2000. I had just finished my Sophomore year of high school. So, June 2008 will mark year 8 for my S10. I get attached haha.

About half a year ago, I picked up an '86 Mazda B2000, which I am NOT attached to. I am loyal to the S10!! First love, you know?

No project stashed away - both are on the road. :-)  

I picked up my 'project' truck on September 22nd 2002, so pushing 5 1/2 years on it with no plans to sell.

It was a DD until I picked up a more reliable truck on Sept 1 2007, so that one is pushing 3 1/2 months old...  

I guess I should add that between my wife and I we have had her '87 Isuzu since 1989, our 1998 S-10 ss since '99, my '94 fleetwood since 2003, her '05 xb since late 2004, my '72 courier for 2 1/2 years, my '84 ramcharger for 2 years, my '91 caprice wagon for for 1 1/2 years, and sitting in storage her '75 pinto(first car) since 1986 and my '66 datsun 520 since 1996 along with my other 10 cars-yes I'm  addicted to  cars and trucks  

whoa! I'm counting something like 19 vehicles? That's crazy!!  

yeah well like I said I'm a car junkie-speaking of I just got a 1980 Plymouth Arrow pu for $200. Not really sure what I'm gonna do with it yet but I've always wanted one back in the day and because you never see them. Grasnted I know its a d50 but it says plymouth on it and you can't buy a plymouth anymore

I bought my 06 chevy reg cab/short box in april of 07, its black with black 20's with dark tint, and i did a 4-4 drop  

WELL I have had my black truck since 1998 it long term project used to be my daily driver but now its just for show. I also have 2 other trucks a 1990 gmc siera its my daily driver, (its a retired show truck) also i have a 1987 4x4 s-10 . got pics of all them in my profile.  also kinda new on here so still gettign the hang of thigns on here
