most mini truckers love s-10s because there easy to work on. there small and compact. and there just so easy to modify i mean all you have to do is move two mounts and you can drop a 350 in it. no welding no nothing i belive S-10's will come back the colorado wont last long

Yeah the Colorado won't last, hopefully, and I sure hope the S10 comes back. Let's see, raise gas prices, and get rid of compact trucks. Makes no sense.

Yeah the Colorado is a waste. You can buy a fullsize truck for about the same price. I like the look of the colorado, but it is not as practical as the S-10 was. Gm needs to build a mini/mid size truck at a reasonable price with good gas mileage.

My guess is in 2012 when Ford releases their supposed new 'mini' truck GM won't be far behind... we'll see..

I don't think the Colorado is a waste at all... in fact, I have two of them...one for show and another as my daily.

I like them because they are the smallest of the "midsize" trucks and no other truck comes with a 4-Cylinder anymore! All the other trucks that fall into this category are closer to a fullsize than a mini. Tacomas, Frontiers, Dakotas etc. all must have taken their steroids.
I get great gas mileage, enough power to get out of my own way and nice looks. Don't get me wrong, I'm not breaking any speed records and I'm tempted to swap a LS2 into my show truck, but for right now it does just fine.

Kevin is right about the Colorado being overpriced. I do like it though. The days of going down to your local Toyota dealer and leaving with a brand new mini for 7,500 bucks are long gone. Ah, memories.

I picked up my 96 s-10 for a decent price, with about 90 thousand on it, I love that little truck and this is coming from a ford guy. My S-10 maybe 13 years old but will never get old...........never and its cause of the love that we have for them
