i have a 2001 chevy 1500 with a 4.8l wanting to add some power on the factory engine what can i do.

You can get a chip from Hypertech or bullydog. Get a cold air intake and underdrive pulleys. You will notice the most difference with the chip.

magnacharger makes an excellent innercooled supercharger kit that'll give you another 100hp at the wheels.
STS makes a tailpipe turbo for the engine too...
