Hello,
I have a 97 chev and getting ready to shave the door handles.I don't know what to buy. There are too many choices!Should I use my factory keyless entry ? Are my factory door lock solenoids strong enough to open the latch if i reposition them ? If I use my factory keyless entry and wiring,is there any certain solenoid kits you guys would recomend ? I think I am making this to hard !
Please help ! I only want to do this once !Thanks,Sheepnuts !

I have no idea how to answer your question... I'm just intrigued as to why and how you ended up with the username that you chose...?

I would use the AUTOLOC 35lb Shaved Door Kit I know that is the only kit I ever use, it is very reliable and I have had no probs what so ever out of them. I own a shop that sells a couple diff kits but the autoloc is the most popular and it is pretty cheap too!!

tucn22's is right. dont try to use the factory keyless entry actuators to try and open the latch mechanism. Its definately not strong enough. Autoloc makes great stuff.
