New Tahoe or Avalanche wheels wanted

I have been looking for a set of the factory five-spoke 20-inch polished wheels with tires that come on most new Tahoes and Avalacnhes. I know there are people prectically giving them away while upgrading wheels. I have been too late many times and everyone else wants $1,000 to $2,000 for them. They are freakin' take-offs, so i'm looking for $500 or less for a set. Any leads?  

I don't think you'll find them with tires for that price. I got mine last year in the spring rims only for $600 shipped, painted silver, not polished. The price has gone down a bit since then.

Have you checked eBay? That is where I found mine......I watch eBay listings regularly for parts. I just picked up a new Suncoast Functional Ram Air Hood for my Silverado for $399, still in white gel coat in the shipping box. Local pick up makes for some great deals! The hood costs around $1000 from the manufacturer.

Good luck with your search. What vehicle are you putting the wheels on?  

I know that I'm being cheap about the wheels, but it kills me that there are shops getting them as take-offs and charging up the butt for them. They are going on an '06 Crew Cab Silverado. I haven't been searching hard for them, but thanks for giving me your input.  

Have you looked on craigslist yet or tried asking your local dealership what they do with their takeoffs?
