Questions about lowering a '97 Sonoma

I am trying to lower my Sonoma 2WD , but only a little since I am on a VERY tight budget for now.  My only question is about the best way to lower the front.  I have a set of 3" lowering blocks for the rear.  For the front, I am debating the 2-3" drop coils or similar drop spindles.  If I just use the coils, will the camber be too great for the tires and wear them out too much on the insides?  If so, I will just go with the spindles, but as far as I have seen, the spindles only come in 2" drop, but the coils come in either 1", 2", or 3" drop.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

spindles for you truck are pretty inexpensive and will allow the alignment shop to more easily bring the front end back to spec. the truck will also ride better with spindles than a set of lowered springs.

Yeah I would go with spindles  http://thecustomconnectiononline.com/store/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=136_144&products_id=625  and then a 1" spring if it is not low enough for you http://thecustomconnectiononline.com/store/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=136_140&products_id=665
