Can I use the drive shaft on a 1999 S-10 on a 1997 GMC sonoma? And will most parts change from the 1999 to the 1997? Thanks for any help

The trucks are pretty much the same as long as they are fitted with the same motors/trans/cab and bed configurations. You might find some small differences but all in all the parts should cross back and forth. If you really need to know about I specific part call your local junk yard and ask if they have the Holland interchange guide and if so have them look it up.-Calin
