I need some guidance! Is it possible to swap the 2001-2002 Silverado 2500HD grille and front bumper onto a 1999 Silverado 1500? From the looks of the trucks the hoods, fenders, lights, and chrome bumper are the same. The plastic top piece on the bumper is different as is the grille. Is this swap possible with different bumper brackets on the front to lower the bumper allowing the extra room for the taller plastic cap? Will the grille mount using the same fastener locations?

The 2500HD grille looks so much better than the stock 1500. I just bought a fiberglass ram air hood and do not want to swap to the 03-07 nose.
