I have a 2001 Silverado that I am trying my best to put in a Trenz stainless instrument bezel. I'm not talking about the gauge faces, but the actual bezel frame that sits over top of the gauges. I have successfully taken out the "pod" that sits on top of the gauges that houses the bezel and clear instrument lens. Then realized the lens is either glued on or maybe even melted on. I tried to be as delicate as I could, but of course, the clear lens cracked as I was trying to remove it. I am going to have to go get another one from a junkyard I guess. Does anyone have any advice at all on how to get the clear instrument lens off without breaking it into a hundred pieces??? Sure could use some help!!! Thanks.

If you are still stuck on this I might be able to help but if you can send me a picture of your cluster I'll know for sure. I have done this job before but never had an issue with the plastic so I am a little lost as to what is going on.
