I dont know I beat the truck up to much for black, maybe like a silver or dark gray. Which ever I end up with I will add a little flake to it, but just a little bit, not like a bass boat or anything haha

well, it is getting another frame, I'm taking it to the doors and tring to keep the 22" and stock hood. I had seen alot of bd trucks with cowls so that was my main goal, to keep the stock hood, but there are a few trucks on the rockers with stock hoods now so I am going to try to go to the doors with the stock hood. Not because of the other trucks though, it is just a personal goal. I want to step up the game again. My truck was BD on 22's in 2002 and there wasnt any (that I know of) at the time so maybe in a few years Doored trucks on 22"s will be the thing????? IDK

wheels will make or break any of those schemes...remember the wheels when picking out a paint design, or buy the wheels you want first.

Straight lines lend themselves to straight spoke wheels well. like a conservative 5 spoke billet wheel. Once you go into crazy tribal or non-traditional flames all bets are off.
i like to pick wheels and paint at the same time so that the look im going for remains consistent. last thing i want to do is paint the truck and then find out the wheels i had planned on using wont work.

I think that your dilemma is more towrads the overall look of the truck.Personally I think your truck might look good sportin some gullwing doors with your paint.

hi Jason, welcome. Not sure what that was supposed to mean, but we'll assume the best and carry on.

I based my wheels off the bodylines of my truck, but I am having a hard time with the paint.
Twotones look great, but everyone and their mailman has them. Flames are also great, and there are many ways to do them, but its hard to make them stand out. Graphics can be done well or poorly, I love the crazy "Cali-Style Double Whack" paintjobs, but don't want to distract from the cleanliness and attention to detail I have into my truck already...
In the end, it'll probably be a single tone, and from there I can take it anywhere I want...

but if it's a single tone, it's gotta be clean cuz there isn't any "flare" to distract... BUT..done right, you can't beat the cleanness of it...
