What was the first custom touch that you did to your truck? When you get a new truck do you just drive it for a little while or do you start messing around with it before you even get home?

Euroclear taillights! Got pulled over for them, and DAD, who was on a bike ride, saw the whole thing... they were eventually stolen.

Depends on the function of the truck...I think I drive em for a little and then ease into messin' with em

My first mini I owned back in the day was the same way. I drove it home from the dealership and stopped off at a buddies house on the way home to show it off. Got on ebay and ordered a set of euros. lol

Since everything I have bought has been a bucket, my first modifications are usually to get it running and stopping. Then it has to be lowered with a set of rims. Then I go back and make sure all the seals are tight and there are no rattles. This all usually takes at least two weekends.

for real!!

speaking of bucket and running... my Mazda is finally running smoothly AND without overheating - new radiator and actually, the intake manifold was loose, causing it to lunge and lurch and make you look like you don't know how to drive a manual..... but.... it's all good now. It's a gangster lil truck.

yeah that's why I said "today at least" haha

i think it would be tight to paint the graphics on...like a fresh paint job with painted graphics the way they would have been in '86

my 1st mod was a Cat eye conversion kit grille. Main reason was a hit a deer so I figured why not.. Then I just drove my truck for a while, and few months ago got some 22" rims.. After that step, I figured, its time to go all out.. Been in the garage ever since getting worked on.
