'73 C10..dont really want bags on this one. dont really have any money to build it either so i'm going to punk out on the paint and body and probably spray it satin black and just drop it a few inches.
ive got an LS1 lined up for it already. the turbo 400 that came with it so i'll stick with that for the time being. i'd really like to swap a six speed manual in at some point though because it'll be way more fun to drive then.
anyone know a company that makes a swap kit for the zf or tremec 6 speed?

The magazine would be great with a down & dirty section in each issue......kinda like Calin's S-10 articles but with different vehicles. I know it's similar to Reader's Rides but would feature more budget mods and technical stuff.
I know the high dollar trucks are "motivational" for readers but nothing is worse than seeing something so trick and knowing you will never be able to afford it.
It could even have a few rules: a high percentage of the work has to be by the owner / set a max dollar amount for the truck (build included)......just a few ideas...
It could be cool. You at least need to do a spread with all of your trucks Mike!

you just cant leave well enought alone can ya...lol heres a site that does alot of protouring deals...not a easy swap though. http://www.cms-grp.com/ use your 400th with a yank converter. they can make you one for the swap. you will use all but two bellhousing bolts on the swap. alot cheaper than trying to do your 6 speed swap...even though it would be sweet!

I say you fix the nasty a$$ interior before you think about the trans swap. I know you scavenged a bunch of change from inside maybe you can pick up a seat cover from Pep Boy so at least you don't get dysentery from sitting in the cab.

you need a url for the pictures... highlight the url and hit the image icon (yellow mountain icon above). or just add it as a ride and you can upload directly off your computer. word.

lately all i've managed to do is put air in the passenger side tires every three days when they go flat. first order of business is to find some new rubber. maybe i ought to powdercoat the ralley wheels because the rattle can chevy orange paint is already peeling off them.
