Hey I have a bagged 97 sierra with a problem thanks to my dumbass... well earlier i got into the truck while i was upset and put into reverse a popped the clutch and it didnt go well to say the least.. the rear is two linked with a bar going across the links(under front of rear end housing) and whatever i did caused the rear to be facing more downward, bent the bar going across the links, and pulled the driveshaft yoke out of the tranny about 3 or 4 inches... i know if i can get the drive shaft back into the tranny i might be able to straighten out the bend going across the links... has anyone ever had this happen or know a good way of getting that driveshaft yoke back in and straighten the angle of the rear end.. which might straighten itself if I could get the yoke to go back in... any and all help is greatly appreciated..

to bad about that man...sucks..sorry to hear it I would say that the first thing you need to do is lose that 2 link and get a 4 link to prevent it from happening again

ya i know.. i do need a 4 link.. i had to take the driveshaft loose to slide it back in, then i un-bolted the 2 link from the rear end and rotated the rear back into place... the 02 has a 4-link but it messed up on me too because the idiot that did it didnt weld it to the frame right..oh well i guess you live and you learn lol!
