take the bulb out of the check eng light?!?!?!? hahahj/k
I dont know with out a code have it scanned it will tell you why it is flashing you can take it to a shop and they will scan it for you or you can buy a code reader from auto zone

oh wait, that's just my approach. Yeah, you really need to know more info. It could be anything, so figure out what the code is and from there, it could be easy or you still could be screwed.
My check engine light has been on for about 4 years haha. I passed smog once with it that way, but my luck will prob run out this Feb. when it's due for smog again.

If your check engine light is flashing, it meens that there is a misfire. More than likely the code that is set is a p0300 or possibly a more detailed code like p0301-p0302 and so on-that will be cylinder specific. Make sure you did not crack the spark plug when you installed it. Also, if you had to put a wire set together one may not be correct.
