I need help!!! You have a choice:

$3500 Snap On Mig/Tig Welder - never used & perfect.

-or-

1987 C10 Silverado Sort Bed rust free from Arkansas with a 383 stroker small block - 20k on the motor. Paint is faded but the truck is clean -PLUS- another 87 C10 Short Bed that is rusted pretty bad but runs.

What do you think you would decide? I have the welder and the owner of the trucks is willing to trade even.....HELP ME DECIDE!!!

Understand that the welder is a high quality piece, the kind of tool you have the rest of your life. That's a lot of project trucks worth of welding.

This is a 100% duty cycle machine that can handle steel 1/4" thick......that means any chassis work needed.

It's a TOUGH choice......I do have my 99 Silverado so it's not like I already do not have a project toy.....

My 99 Silverado.....I'm basically laying low for the winter months. In a way it's like a squirel gathering nuts for the winter, I gather parts for the spring. Save funds and get the stuff I want then have a summer worth of work ahead! I've done this for years. My truck is in a storage unit this year so the wife can park in the garage.

Just got the new issue of the mag today. I've always thought it was cool that everybody at the mag has projects and toys that get featured. Of them all I like Calin's S10 the most because it's low buck and shows that you don't need high end everything to have a sweet ride. I especially like the barter system trade for the wheels. Been there many times myself! Also the long bed. Not all custom trucks are short beds, my Silverado is a long bed as well.

All three trucks look awesome. Good work as usual!

Plus you were wrong Mike, one of your trucks is in the mag.....the cowl work on your 68.
