Hello eveyone I wanted to know what kind of mods work on a 2003 GMC Sierra 5.3 V8 4x4? So far I have a AEM Brute Intake which feels like it helped, then I just installed a Supechip which I cant really feel any improvement, I proabbly need to run the 87 octane high performnace tune. My next step is a custom cat back system, Im planning on going with a 3.0 Inch wide exhaust pipe and a magnaflow or cherry bomb muffler. If i go with a lets say 4inch exhaust pipe will i lose power?

4 inch isn't going to help.
yes the 4x4 is slower because there are more losses in the drivetrain friction. remember, a 4x4 is turning more parts than a 2x4.

If I were you I wouldnt put cherrybombs on a truck like that. It will just sound nasty and will make you look like an ass riding down the road. I have a 2006 sierra 5.3 2wd. I just put on the whole magnaflow catback system that converted it to dual pipes and it souds awesome. At an idle you can barely hear it, but when you punch the gas it sounds so freakin clean. And also, get rid of that superchip and buy a DiabloSport Predator.
