Want to get started on my truck. No nothing about restoration! Should I start with the upholstery work first? Have an 88 Chevy truck. Body is in very good condition, but need some advice as where to start.

What shape is the drivetrain in? Before doing appearnce stuff, I'd get the mechanicals working properly first. From there, move to paint, then interior. Sometimes when painting you can get overspray on the interior, so you don't want to install a new interior then paint the truck.

That is a good course of action. Drivetrain, suspension (lowering), wheels, bodywork as needed (making room for tire clearance). I change my mind about the color I will eventually paint my truck as often as the wind blows! For me exterior colors and wheels work together. Interiors look awesome when the exterior colors and finishes are incorporated. Everything revolves around a budget as well.....that's the hardest part!
It is a lot to think about but take it one step at a time and don't overwhelm yourself!
