Was needing some help on how to put on a grille molding kit for a 1981 GMC pick up. I bought the grille molding kit for LMC truck and what came with it was the molding pieces and then there was some PLASTIC pieces that look like they slide on, but on my truck their is only holes and nothing else. Wondering if their ahould be some screws and bolts with it or not? Anyway any input would be helpful. Thanks.

i just had to do this to my '73. the plastic pieces slid into the back side of the moulding, then the whole thing gets pushed into the holes in the core support, and there are nuts that are threaded onto the plastic posts from the back side of the core support. its a huge pain in the ass to install and i recommend having a friend around to help you do it. its rough trying to hold the grille in place while installing the nuts.
