Anyone know how to Shave Stepside Bed Caps

I have seen in sport truck and truckin that guys are shaving the Bedcaps on the 99 and Up Gm Stepsides. Since these are Plastic, I was wondering if they fiberglass it or use plastic and plastic weld it. Any Help is appreciated!

You could use a piece of ABS plastic as a filler piece and use bumper repair glue to hold it in place then fiberglass over it
