Yeah 30's are a bit extreme for me but considering the largest wheel I own is an 18 I might not be the best person to ask.

if they poke through the fenders when the truck lays rocker, then the wheels are too big. and yes it is cheating if you reshape your fenders and hood to look like a skateboard ramp just to cover up your trucks. Remember that green toyota on the doors with 20's from back in the day?

You know if someone had asked I would have said that wasn't possible, but apparently you can be that over the top. Of course I'm riding on a nice set of 17's, so split the difference and its about right.
