Got mine on Wednesday 4/8.

Got a question about the red Silverado from the page 14 "A Sucker For The Steel" story and the header on this website: Anybody know the drop dimensions on the truck? I checked out the steelies on the Stockton website and they are very affordable for the 16" rims but the price doubles for the jump to 17"....not worth it! The 16x7 costs $117 and the 16x8 costs $119 - this is for bare steel and a chrome center cap. Pretty good deal, I think!

My plans for my Silverado basically match the red truck: shaved, small mirrors, steelies. I'm going with Hot Rod Flatz paint, probably red oxide with white (or maybe light tan?) rims and matching pinstriping on the truck. I'm obviously going for the shop truck look...got a "shop logo" type thing in mind for the doors as well. It's a long bed truck so I might as well made it a purpose built truck.

Any info on the drop would be appreciated!

Jason Logan's 04 Silverado was dropped up front using DJM 4-inch control arms and Toxic shocks. Out back it was lowered using a 6-inch flip kit and again, Toxic shocks.
