Alright, i'm new to the lowriding scene but i'm interested in getting my 91 chevy 1500 stepside EVENTUALLY to show quality or "nice" quality. Cheapest aproach to the build is definatly wanted as cash is slim. (I know your going to say there is no cheap way... i'm just saying cheapest way.)
I was thinking on starting with a lowering kit or something that would bring it down 4"/6"-F/R. I was just wondering what the best "cheap" option would be...? I was quoted at $861 for a 4/6 kit. Is there ways to get around it by buying peices but not all of the kit or cheaper kits?

the problem with "cheap" lowering kits is you end up with coils and you wont be able to align it...as long as you dont have more than 2" of drop by a coil spring you should be ok

the words "cheap" and "suspension" usually dont result in a good riding truck.
