I have an 2008 GMC Sierra Crewcab with the 5.3 engine. My truck is one year old
and I only have 8200 miles on it. I have put a Magnaflow catback system on it and
a Volant cold airintake and a Helix throtlebody spacer on it. It really has improved the proformance on it. The gas milage is around 20mpg as long as I keep my foot out of it. My question is, can I do anything more to it without voiding my warranty? I would like it to be a little faster without voiding my warranty.

Thankyou,
Anthony

your warrantee is only as good as the dealer you take the truck to when it breaks. you can do a lot of stuff to a truck that one dealer might be cool with and another might not.

Your LS1 could benefit from a new comp cams camshaft, a f.a.s.t intake manifold, msd ignition coil packs etc.

whether or not it'll void the warantee is a question left to the dealer.

Thanks for the info STMIKE. The only thing my dealership will tell me is that, anything electrial will void my warranty. Thats all they will say. I was thinking
about putting on a procharger, I asked if that would void my warranty and was told it might? Procharger says no that it won't. Back to square one. Thanks though for giving me some ideal on what else to do. Never thought of the things you said.

I never thought about any of the things you suggested, thanks again.

a procharger shouldn't void your engine warrantee, but the additional power output might give the dealer causes to deny any transmission or driveline problems should they arise.
