tail shaft seal issue on a bagged 86 hardbody

i have a 86 hardbody regular cab, it has a two peice driveline, but i some how lost the tail shaft seal... any one know how replace the seal?
the other question is, should i have the driveline cut? i was told that maybe the drive line is too long and is blowing out the seal. either way, it loses A LOT of gear oil and is making a mess of my drive way.. need to fix this asap..
