Does anyone know about the empty cigar lighter cap on the dash ? If I want to buy  the lighter assembly. Where do I splice in ? There is a small rectangular cover right next to the empty lighter. It is about 3 in. long and has a litle blue window. It pops right out with a clip .there is a orange and black wire connected to it . I have no clue what that is . Can you guys help. Thanks, Marty

Marty,

We need to know what truck (year, make, and model) you are talking about to help in more detail. But generally adding a lighter is pretty easy. You can run a power wire over to your fuse panel and find a constant hot terminal to tap into and the ground is either picked up off the housing, if its install into a metal dash, or a short wire to a piece of metal in a plastic dash situation.
