I have a 1988 gmc c1500 and it is my first vehicle. I want to put a grille off of a 94 gmc or something similar. Would this be possible without extensive modification? And I guess it would be smart to mention I want the whole grill that the headlights are mounted to and everything, not only the mesh part in the middle.

the parts are all bolt-on. you will have to change everything to make the swap. easiest way is to find a donor vehicle, but you can buy swap kits online.
